Spark plugs replaced 2006 Mazda MPV
I know the importance of preventive maintenance. I try to follow the factory recommendations for my 2006 Mazda MPV. My car has about 95k miles and I know that at 100K it is recommended that the spark plugs be replaced. I had done some research on it and I knew that the upper intake had to be removed to access the back 3 spark plugs. I thought about attempting it myself but came to the conclusion that it would be a lot of work. Then I started looking for a local repair shop to take care of it for me. I searched on the internet and found Val & Mike’s Auto Repair. I liked the reviews I saw so I called and asked for an estimate for the spark plugs and also the serpentine belt. They took my information and called me back with the estimate. I was happy with the price and with the people I talked to on the phone, so I set up an appointment to bring in it. Along with the repairs requested they did an inspection for me. They let me know that my transmission fluid and power steering fluid were dirty and would need servicing but that could wait. I was surprised that I wasn’t given the hard sell to add those services. When it is time for my next service I will be back to see Val & Mike! John H.
